Lodge Grass woman ID’d in Big Horn County fatal crash

UPDATE: The name of the woman killed in a Big Horn County crash has been released.

Jacinta Walks, 52, of Lodge Grass was killed when the pickup truck she was in failed to yield while pulling onto the highway. The pickup was hit by a logging truck, Walks died on scene. Big Horn County Coroner Terry Bullis said her husband was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.


One woman is dead after a crash in Big Horn County on Tuesday.

The Montana Highway Patrol said the crash happened on Secondary Highway 451 at the intersection with Little Big Horn Road when a Ford pickup truck pulling onto the highway failed to yield to an oncoming semi.

A female passenger in the truck, which was driven by a male, was killed. Her name has not yet been released.

The crash on Montana Highway 451 at mile marker 29 was reported Tuesday at 5:13 a.m.
