BOZEMAN – The College of Engineering at Montana State, is now accepting student proposals for art to be displayed in the new building, Norm Asbjornson Hall.
The art will be going on the large panels on each floor of the building. Any student is able to submit a proposal and the options for the type of art is endless.
Students have the opportunity to include sound, interactive sensors, and other technology.
Having students contribute to the new building is important for the college.
“I’m always amazed at how brilliant our students are at Montana State,” said Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Rob Maher. “They always come up with interesting ideas that are surprising and very innovative.”
The committee is accepting proposals through December with hopes to have a decision made by January. The selected artist will receive a $7,000 scholarship to MSU.
