One person dead, another injured in Glacier County crash

According to the MHP, a pickup truck was southbound on Highway 358 along a curve to the left, and the vehicle went off to the right. The driver over-corrected, and the vehicle went off the road to the left, and rolled.

The two male occupants were ejected from the truck.

One of them died at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital in Cut Bank, and then to Benefis Health System in Great Falls with serious injuries.

Neither man was wearing a seatbelt, according to the MHP; it’s not yet know if speed or alcohol were factors.

The MHP is continuing to investigate.

(1st Report) A fatal crash has been reported in Glacier County.

The crash was reported at 4:01 p.m. on Thursday to the Montana Highway Patrol.

It happened along Highway 358 (Valier Highway) near mile marker 25, several miles south of Cut Bank.

The name of the victim, number of people and vehicles involved, and the level of injuries are unknown at this time.

We have received an unconfirmed report that one person died, and another person sustained serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
