GREAT FALLS – Spirit Halloween, previously located on the west side of town, has moved its location at 721 10th Avenue South and is now open for the Halloween season.
Manager Derrick Lerum said, “This is definitely more on the main drag. We love our new location on 10th Avenue.”
Starting next week, hours will be normal from 10 to 8 p.m. Hours will get longer as we get closer to the Halloween season approaches.
The new store location is larger than the previous store, giving them more room to put up new merchandise and making it easier to move around.
Some of the best sellers every year include super heroes, but video games are also up and coming. Derrick said, “This year we have Fortnite. We’re really excited to get Fortnite costumes and accessories.”
Spirit of Children is Spirit Halloween’s charity once again this year. Donations will be taken at the cash register and all the money goes to Shodair Children’s Hospital. Last year donations from Spirit Halloween were able to purchase a therapy dog.
What makes Halloween so great? Being someone else for a day. “For one day out of the year you can be whatever you want to be,” says Derrick.
