UPDATE 1:18 p.m.: Helena Police say there were no serious injuries in the crash and add that because it was private property crash no tickets or citations will be issued.
HELENA- A coffee shop on Helena’s west side was damaged around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday when a vehicle drove through the front of the business.
Fireside Coffee owner Dan Fountaine says the crash sounded like a roar louder than an earthquake.
Fountain tells MTN when he peeked around the corner he saw the car’s front end where a window and tables used to be.
He says thankfully there were no customers inside.
What led to the crash and the condition of the driver is not known at this time.
Fountaine says he plans to stay open while the building is repaired
