BILLINGS – A nationwide event is giving the pro-life life message with signs such as “Adoption, the loving option” and “Life – the first inalienable right.”

Yellowstone Valley Christians for Life put on Life Chain at King Avenue West and South 24th Street West on Sunday.

Thousand of Life Chains are taking place around the country

The idea is a peaceful message with pro-life messages.

“It’s not a protest,” said Amy Seymour, president of Yellowstone Valley Christians for Life. “It’s just a message in silent solemnity and we pray during that time too.”

The chains run about 90 minutes and those in the line stay quiet, display the signs and pray.

“We want the message to go out that every single human being from the moment of conception, which is when human life begins, an individual’s life begins, they’re all people,” Seymour said. “To deny them of the right to life is wrong.”

Life Chain is organized by Yellowstone Valley Christians for Life.

The group also has “40 Days for Life” which runs through November 4.
