The Montana Department of Revenue’s Property Assessment will close two of their field offices on October 31st.

The closing field offices are located in Choteau and White Sulphur Springs.

The closures are part of the department’s move to streamline operations and get the best use out of the limited resources they have.

Though in-person site visits will still take place, there will not be a walk-in office for property owners to visit.

The Cascade County field office in Great Falls will handle the needs of Teton County property owners. That office is located at 300 Central Avenue (Suite 520), and can be reached at 406-454-7460.

The Lewis & Clark County field office in Helena will handle the needs of Meagher County property owners. That office is located at 5 South Last Chance Gulch and may be reached at 406-444-4000.
