BOZEMAN – Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is expecting its busiest ever Thanksgiving week this year.

About 1,400 additional passengers are expected to fly out of Bozeman next week because of this year’s added service to Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles during the week. Airport Director Brian Sprenger says that people traveling out of Bozeman should prepare for long lines and larger crowds.

“It’s just a really good idea to show up earlier than what you’d normally do. We have a lot of unfamiliar people with travel that tends to slow the process down some, so giving that extra time to make sure we don’t have anybody miss their flights or Thanksgiving dinner.” Sprenger said

BZN set another passenger record for the month of October beating the previous record set last year by about 9.5 percent.
