BILLINGS- The Billings Police Department continues to investigate the disappearance of a Billings woman who went missing over two months ago.
Laura Johnson, 49, hasn’t been heard from or seen by family and loved ones since Sept 4.
The family of Johnson originally took to Facebook back in September to alert Billings area residents about the disappearance of the mother of five.
Johnson moved to Billings to be with her boyfriend, according to family, and was working at a local Papa Johns.
The family becomes worried when Johnson didn’t show up to work and stopped communicating with family.
A missing person’s alert for Johnson was issued by Billings police on Sept. 14 after a police crime scene investigation vehicle was at the residence of Johnson investigating.
According to Billings Police Capt. Neil Lawrence, the case was still active and ongoing Tuesday.
The department most recently asked for the public’s help in locating a vehicle that could help in the investigation.
Investigators were looking for anyone who saw a 2012 white Chevrolet Silverado crew cab pickup with decals on the doors, in the areas east of Billings, including Worden, Shepherd, Huntley and Pompey’s Pillar.
Johnson is described as 5’4″, 130 lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes.
