HELENA – Montana Millionaire, the popular year-end game from the Montana Lottery has sold out.

Lottery officials say the last ticket was sold on December 5, evening around 6:30 p.m.

The Dec. 5 date is the earliest date tickets have sold out in the game’s 12-year history.

According to Jennifer McKee, the lottery communications director, ticket sales have been at least 30 percent ahead of previous years all season.

One of the reasons the game is so popular is because it guarantees a winning ticket will be drawn, even if the game does not sell out.

The next early bird drawing for a $15,000 prize is scheduled for Dec. 14.

The grand prize drawing of $1,000,000 will be held before the end of the year. For more details head over the Montana Lottery’s website
