RONAN – Police in Ronan are continuing to investigate a November shooting that sent a man to the hospital.

Authorities say that Darius Samuel McDougall, 21, is now in custody for his role in the incident.

He was arrested on Thursday afternoon by the Polson Police Department in the parking lot of the Kwataqnuk Resort and Casino on the outstanding warrant.

McDougall was later booked into the Lake County Detention Center.

A 25-year-old was shot at a residence in the 300 block of 12th Avenue Northwest in Ronan on November 15.

Another suspect in the case — a 16-year-old — was taken into custody days after the shooting after leading authorities in Lake County on a high-speed chase.

The teen suspect was taken to a secure facility in Missoula after being arrested.
