BOZEMAN – Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport shattered its monthly passenger record for the month of November.
The total number of passengers traveling through BZN was up 22 percent from last November which set the previous record for passenger traffic the month. Additional flights to Dallas and east coast cities helped increase numbers in November but Deputy Airport Director Scott Humphrey said that’s not the only reason that the airport is seeing these dramatic increases.
“What I think it’s also a combination of is growth in the valley,” Humphrey said. “As we’re seeing we’re seeing enplanement growth here with the increase of population here in the Valley, and just the ridership here through the airport.”
Airport officials expect similar numbers for the month of December.
