MISSOULA – Missoula is a college town, making it a prime destination for beer and pizza.

Old Chicago opened on Reserve Street on Sunday, intending to bring just those things.

The late-night restaurant now has one of the widest selections of craft beer in town and is known for its pizza made from scratch.

The first 100 people at the grand opening were granted free pizza for a year, and people lined up at 7 am, hours before doors opened.

General manager Greg Leitner said there was a lot of energy from employees and food lovers.

“There was a huge line and it started to snow so we gave them tickets so they could go and sit in their cars. We thought that would be the nice thing to do. The energy level is high, we’re really excited.”

During the month of January, Old Chicago is donating 10% of all online orders to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Missoula.
