ROUNDUP- Musselshell County officials are asking for donations of adult-sized life jackets for searchers looking for a 3-year-old Canadian boy who went missing Monday in the Musselshell River.

According to the Musselshell County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the jackets are required to ensure the safety of searchers at the Kilby Butte colony east of Roundup.

Donors should mark the life jacket with an address in permanent marker and drop it off at the Kilby Butte colony or the sheriff’s office.

The boy, whose family was visiting the Kilby Butte Hutterite Colony, was near the riverMonday morningwith a 5-year-old girl and fell in.

Searchers have struggled with thick ice over the past three days and have not found the boy, according to Musselshell County.
