Missing Lewis and Clark County boy reported found, safe

UPDATE, 2:30 p.m.: Sheriff Leo Dutton reported Jones has been found and is in good health.


UPDATE: 2:00 P.M.:  The Lewis and Clark Co. Sheriff’s Office says Jones may be wearing blue jeans and camo (muck) boots.

Search and Rescue crews are being deployed and will be aided by search dogs.


HELENA- The Lewis and Clark Co. Sheriff’s Office has put out an emergency message for a missing boy.

Ledger Jones, 11, was last seen around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night at his home on the 4400 block of Highway 12 East.

Jones is 4’8″ tall and weighs about 80 lbs. He has dark hair and green eyes.

Authorities do not have a description of his clothing.
