BILLINGS – The Yellowstone County coroner has identified a 30-year-old Billings woman as the person who died in a Jan 12 crash off Pryor Road.

Deputy Coroner Rich Hoffman said the woman is Krisdee Howe.

Last Sunday, Howe was traveling eastbound on Pryor Road when her vehicle went off the road for unknown reasons.

The car rolled several times before coming to a stop. The Montana Highway Patrol received a call about 9:30 a.m. of an abandoned vehicle.

Howe was found on Jan13.

When MHP arrived on the scene, first responders discovered the body of a deceased female. Troopers say Howe was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Alcohol and speed are considered factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing and is being taken over by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
