HELENA – A 30 year-old Helena man is accused of trying to run over someone with his vehicle after he allegedly stole from a business.

Nathan Robert King appeared in Lewis and Clark County justice court on Monday.

According to court documents, police responded to reports of a shoplifter at an East Broadway business on January 4th.

Court records say the suspect fled out the back door of the business with items.

A store employee followed King to a truck and tried to take pictures.

Court documents say that’s when King started his truck and accelerated toward the employee.

King has been charged with one count of felony robbery. The judge set bond at $10,000.
