ST. REGIS- Traffic continues to be an issue for anyone traveling west of Missoula on Interstate 90.

Two different avalanches shut down Interstate 90 in the westbound lanes near St. Regis.

That report came in just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday — closing all traffic going westbound.

The Montana Department of Transportation reports the avalanche happened at mile marker 33.5 near St. Regis. There were no reports of injuries.

Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, a snow slide shut down the westbound lanes of I-90 one mile east of the Montana-Idaho border at Lookout Pass. The road is still closed.
