(HELENA) Helena Public Schools leaders announced Sunday that they will cancel a number of bus routes in outlying areas on Monday.
Buses 10, 16, 17, 15, 24 and 25 will not run. Leaders pointed to winter storm advisories, drifting snow and worsening road conditions.
All other bus routes are expected to run as scheduled, but leaders said students and parents should expect delays. They have asked parents not to leave students unattended at bus stops.
District leaders said parents have the right to keep children at home if the conditions in their area are unsafe.
