An avalanche closed part of Highway 287 approximately 39 miles south of Ennis near Quake Lake.
The Montana Department of Transportation’s website stated the slide was reported at 6:12 a.m. Thursday.
As of 9:15 a.m., one lane on the highway was open, but travelers should still expect delays, according to MDT.
