KALISPELL – A new Kalispell brewery called Bias Brewing is giving back to the city one beer at a time.

The brewery opened its doors nine months ago with one goal in mind — to build Kalispell’s community through craft brews.

Bias has 14 locally made and sourced beers on tap, rotating 12 regularly. The brewery partners with local foundations in town to give back to the community.

“We partnered with the Flathead Community Foundation, so 50¢ for every cold brew coffee we sell forever will be donated to the Flathead Valley Community Foundation,” co-owner Gabe Mariman explained. “We’ve donated well over $1,000 so far and that’s our on-going constant giving.”

With the help of other local breweries, Bias gave $17,000 to the Kalispell Downtown Association which is dedicated to promoting, preserving and improving historic, downtown Kalispell.

Bias Brewing is located at 409 First Avenue East in Kalispell.
