WHITEFISH – It was an epic year for Whitefish Mountain Resort in terms of visitor numbers.
The resort has announced a new record of skier visits for the third consecutive year.
This year there were more than 384,000 skier visits which topped the previous record of 300,000 skiers.
There is also a new record number of season passes sales with more than 10,000 sold.
Resort officials add that visitors are key as local residents make up half of the skiing population.
