HELENA – A Helena man was in court Monday for the robberies of two casinos this past January.
31 year-old Andrew James Blake has been charged with two felony counts of robbery and two misdemeanor counts of theft.
Court documents allege Blake used a stolen BB-Gun on the night on January 17th to rob Lucky Lil’s Casino and then 10 minutes later rob the Loose Caboose Casino.
Blake is alleged to have eluded law enforcement that night.
Police later identified him as the robbery suspect due to matching the physical description of eyewitnesses and security footage.
Blake allegedly was also in possession of shoes that match prints left at the scene of the crimes.
Blake will enter his plea on these charges in District Court on May 29.
Judge Michael G. Swingley set bond at $50,000.
