GREAT FALLS – According to the Montana Department of Justice, human trafficking is the second largest criminal industry across the globe.

And it’s happening right here in Montana.

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery affecting men, women and children.

In this Sunday’s Face the State, MTN’s Shannon Newth sits down with Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter, who has a long history of working these kinds of cases.

Face the State airs on all MTN stations every Sunday at 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
