Some crews released from Moss Ranch fire

MISSOULA – Crews are continuing to make good progress battling the 5,300 acre Moss Ranch fire.

The blaze is now 80% and some resources are being released from the scene as a Type 4 Incident Management Team takes over.

There were 110 personnel assigned to the incident as of midday on Wednesday.

No structures or other infrastructure are threatened and there are no evacuation notices as the fire burns 14 miles southwest of Ronan.

The Nenemay Road, FB-1000 and FB-4000 Road remain closed to the public.
