Treasure County reported its first two COVID-19 cases Wednesday afternoon.
The county's public health department confirmed the two cases late Tuesday, and officials said in a news release that both have been isolated at home since being tested and will remain quarantined for 14 days.
No other information was available about the two cases. They were included in the state's count of total cumulative cases released Wednesday morning.
County health officials are conducting contact tracing.
Health officials encouraged social distancing, good handwashing and wearing face masks for those working in public settings or who have health conditions.
