GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Police Department says that officers made a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle linked to an armed robbery in Helena.

Three men are now in custody in Great Falls for questioning; no other details have been released at this point.

We will update you when we get more information.

(1st Report, 8:39 p.m.) There is a large police presence along and near the Central Avenue bridge in Great Falls.

We have received several unconfirmed reports that at least one person has been taken into custody.

There is no word yet on the cause of the activity, but it does not appear to be due to a crash, nor do there appear to be any injuries.

Traffic is being directed by police; the only blocked area is turning right on to River Drive from Central Avenue West.

A tow truck is also at the scene.

We have a reporter at the scene and will update you as we get details.
