HELENA — The Montana High Patrol is reporting a fatal crash between Elliston and Avon on U.S. Highway 12 in Powell County. The crash involved multiple vehicles.
The crash occurred around 2:13 p.m. on Thursday near mile marker 20, and officials say two people are deceased.
Both lanes were closed due to the crash, but they have since reopened.
This crash remains under investigation.
