HELENA — Due to COVID-19 restrictions,Florence Crittenton has changed this year’s Paint the Town Pink to an at home affair with a virtual event.

This year’s event will feature a virtual program on Saturday, February 13, a Valentine’s Date Night box for couples and families, two raffles and a nostalgic Paper PINK activity.

The Paint the Town Pink gala is the signature fundraising event for Florence Crittenton. The event usually brings in around $250,000 for the nonprofit which equates to around 25-35 percent of their annual fundraising budget.

Florence Crittenton offers a wide variety of programs aimed at strengthening families and providing trauma-informed care. All proceeds from the event will benefit the families served through Crittenton programs, including residential, early childhood, and community-based services.

Florence Crittenton’s Development Director, Heather Greene said, “I am amazed by the generosity of our community. Our clients are able to heal and receive the resources they need to build thriving and successful families, and it only happens with the support of our fellow community members. Thank you!”

The Valentine’s Night In Box includes a dinner catered by Chili O’Briens together with wine, beer or sparkling cider as well as decorations to set the mood. Children’s party boxes are also available which include child friendly food, a fun activity pack and sparkling cider to toast the night with your family.

Party Boxes must be reserved in advance and will be picked up on Saturday February 13th from 3:30 – 5:30pm from the Mount Helena Community Church.

The virtual event on Feb. 13 will feature stories from clients, a message from the executive director and a digital concert from the band Ten Years Gone.
