GREAT FALLS — The Columbus Center in Great Falls now has a display honoring the building’s history. The display was unveiled on Monday morning.

The building was built as a hospital in 1929 and then became office buildings in the 70s. Bob Dreyer and his brother bought the building in 2009 and began renovating it. The building, located at 1601 2nd Avenue North, includes a banquet room, women’s health club, artist wing, beauty salon, and professional services.

The display features several historic items, including original drawings of the building and a bible used by the Catholic sisters who opened the hospitals.

"This makes me very proud. I have employees that have been here a lot longer than I've been here and they're very proud of working here in this building,” Dreyer said.

He said he and his wife decided to make the display after getting questions about the building’s history from many people coming in and out of the building. Click here to visit the website.
