HELENA — After 19 years in Helena, Macy's will be closing.
Emily Workman, a Macy's spokesperson, confirmed via email that the Helena Macy's store on North Montana Avenue will be closing its doors.
A clearance sale will begin sometime this month and run for 8 to 12 weeks.
According to Workman, "Macy’s previously shared this information with our valued colleagues. Regular, non-seasonal colleagues will be eligible for severance, including outplacement resources. There are approximately 50 colleagues at this location."
The Bozeman location is unaffected by this store closure.
Additional information will be shared during Macy’s Investor Day on February 5.
