HELENA — Girls flag football scored a touchdown in the Capital City.
The Helena Public Schools Board of Trustees voted 6-0 April 14 to add girls flag football at Helena High and Capital High beginning this fall.
Prior to last week’s vote, Helena and Capital were Montana’s only two Class AA schools yet to add the sport. Locally, the Bengals and Bruins will join Class A East Helena and Class B Jefferson as schools that offer girls flag football.
