HELENA — City of Helena Urban Forestry staff are busy addressing debris from Wednesday's high winds.

The public is asked to stay away of damaged trees as there is an elevated risk for tree failure, especially as the winds continue.

Residents may call 406-447-8426, email cdaly@helenamt.gov, or log on to the MyHelena app to report damage to boulevard trees.

Please note: The City of Helena will not collect debris from any privately owned trees. Debris from private trees should be taken to the transfer station and not put in a dumpster. Branches from private trees placed on the boulevard will not be collected.

Additionally, the City has closed the Memorial Park Ice Rink today due to a down tree on the ice.
