HELENA — The City of Helena will host two days of informational meetings related to the development of a multimodal traffic study to address safety, operations, access, and connectivity needs at the five-point intersections and connecting corridors.
In order to maximize participant interaction and minimize the risk of COVID-19 spread, these meetings will be held in-person, by appointment in groups of three or fewer. Meetings will be held 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 28 at Helena College, and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29 in the Helena Chamber of Commerce Building.
This traffic study will consider all previously completed planning efforts, provide an in-depth analysis of feasible improvement options, and identify recommendations to be implemented over the next 20 years.
The goal of the informational meetings will be to provide study updates, share key findings, and discuss preliminary improvement areas.
Adjacent landowners, business owners, and the general public are encouraged to schedule an appointment to share their concerns, thoughts, and ideas with the project team. This study is intended to be a collaborative effort between the city, stakeholders, and the public.
