Montana Internet is teaming up with the community to provide students with internet to continue their online learning.

Community members can sponsor or donate an internet hot spot for a student in need. Montana Internet will take all precautions in making sure equipment to the student is properly cleaned.

Montana Internet says there are over 100 students that do not have an internet connection to continue their education online during this pandemic. So far, a couple of Helena businesses have sponsored or donated hot spots but the need continues to grow.

“The need grows everyday and I am not certain if I can keep up on it. But, I’m gonna do the best I can to make sure every kid out there has a connection to the internet. The more support that we get, the more we are going to be able to provide to those students,” says Raquel Buffham, the Director of Business Operations at Montana Internet.
