Shodair Children's Hospital announced changes as Phase Two starts on June 1st, 2020.
As of May 22nd, 2020, Shodair is fully operational. All their units are open. Family members may also visit patients in the hospital.
Shodair announced on June 15th, 2020, visitor restrictions will be lifted. Although anyone will be welcomed, the CEO says they will still screen everyone coming into the facility and require everyone to wear a mask.
“It feels good but there is a concern which you're hearing about all over is, we went for two months with kids not getting any kind of care. We're starting to see the effects of that. So, we are projecting that, as a result, we are going to have a busy summer," says Craig Aasved, the CEO of Shodair.
Shodair employees working from home can come back on June 1st. The CEO says it is optional and will be flexible with their employees.
