The Tiernan Irish Dancers started their 2020 St. Patrick’s Day season shows.
The team consists of about 20 to 30 dancers with an age range from 3 to 24 years old. According to their website, The Tiernan Irish Dancers organization began their journey in 2004 after many requests from the community. The group is now a sister school of the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance.
The dancers will tour and dance at local assisted-living facilities before performing at schools and other community events.
“Performing for audiences like this brings me so much joy. It’s nice to be able to make them happy,” says Emily Franke, the Tiernan Irish Dancers Lead Instructor.
These dancers will be performing at the Hibernian parade on March 14, 2020.
