BOZEMAN – Montana State University said Wednesday the university is canceling the National Conference on Undergraduate Research scheduled for March 26-28 on campus.
MSU President Waded Cruzado said although there is not yet a confirmed COVID-19 case in Montana, "canceling the conference is the right decision for our community.”
“We understand that canceling NCUR 2020 is upsetting for the many undergraduate researchers who planned to present their work, and for the many faculty members and mentors who planned to attend as well,” Cruzado said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this decision may create.”
MSU encourages anyone who registered to attend NCUR 2020 and seeks additional information are encouraged to visit the CUR national conference website [cur.org] . MSU’s NCUR website is also at montana.edu/ncur2020 [montana.edu] .
