Continuing coverage on the search for a missing Utah man that was separated from his family Sunday in the Bitterroot wilderness.
Family members of 25-year-old Kaden Laga report on Facebook that search dogs have been on the mountain since 4:30 a.m. Wednesday and have picked up Laga's scent.
Laga's sister, Carly Laga, says this will allow searchers and family members to narrow their search for Laga Thursday morning.
Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton previously told MTN News they received a report Monday that Laga went missing in the Twin Lakes area in Ravalli County, after his horse went lame, and was separated from his family on Sunday.
Two Bear Air, the Montana National Guard and Choice Aviation has been helping with search efforts that are mostly being conducted by helicopter.
The Idaho County Sheriff's Office will take over command of search efforts on Friday since most of the wilderness area being searched is in Idaho. However, Ravalli County will continue to assist in the search effort.
