Blaine County ATV crash victim identified

Leah Fox died from injuries sustained in an ATV crash

The Havre Daily News reports that Blaine County Undersheriff and Deputy Coroner Chris Adair has identified Leah Fox, 30 years old, as the woman who died from injuries sustained in an ATV crash last week.

The crash happened just south of Harlem on Wednesday, January 1st.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, at around 4:15 a.m. the driver of the ATV was turning right onto Rodeo Avenue from Coming Day Street at a high rate of speed.

MHP says the ATV hit a patch of ice and the driver overcorrected, rolling the ATV on Rodeo Avenue.

Both the man. whose name has not been released, and Fox were thrown from the ATV. The man sustained minor injuries and Fox hit her head on the pavement,

She was taken to Benefis Health System hospital in Great Falls, where she was pronounced dead.
