Sounds of gunshots left Black Friday shoppers in Kennewick, Washington panicked.
Witnesses told KVEW, the ABC affiliate in the region, that the gunshots appeared to come from across the parking lot of a Walmart early Friday afternoon.
According to the Kennewick Police Department, a suspect was taken into custody and there is no active threat.
It's unclear what prompted the shooting or whether anyone was injured.
