HELENA — There is about a month left to enroll in health insurance.
Pureview Health Center plans to spend the remaining month traveling to different parts of Lewis & Clark County to assist Montanas in enrolling.
Back in August 2020, Pureview received a $30,000 grant to help Montanans secure health insurance. Since then, they’ve been able to hire another employee to assist in enrollments.
Pureview says the pandemic has added more reasons why applying to health insurance is more important than ever.
“The pandemic has created a lot of job loss in Montana and with job loss goes insurance coverage loss,” says Jill Steeley, the CEO of Pureview. “We know that people will not seek health care on a regular basis, if they are not insured. So, we want to make sure that people take advantage of this enrollment period to find an insurance policy that will cover them.”
When and where Pureview will visit to help Montannas secure health insurance has not been released yet. We will update the article online when the schedule becomes available.
The last day to enroll in health insurance is December 15, 2020.
