The Missoula City-County Health Department tells MTN News there are no confirmed deaths or illnesses related to vaping in the county.
On Wednesday, MTN News reported the first death in Montana associated with vaping . The Department of Public Health and Human Services says the case involves a person in their late teens with a history of vaping.
The state health department refused to say what county or town the teen was from, citing confidentiality.
Missoula health department director Ellen Lehey says that there are no confirmed cases of deaths or illnesses in Missoula county.
Leahy says the health department created a new website to track vaping illnesses and deaths in the state, nation and Missoula County.
