HELENA — Soroptimist International of Helena announced its first round of scholarships.
They are giving out five scholarships to women worth over $10,000, in total.
The organization stated they’ve received extra funding and with that, are able to provide more scholarships this year.
Soroptimist International of Helena is a non-profit that empowers women to strive high in life.
“Our mission is really to help women and girls be the best they can be and if we can help them either financially, through mentoring, through programs, information, that's what we try to accomplish," says Jo Berg, the Chair of the Scholarship Committee.
The deadline for these scholarships is November 15th, 2020.
