HELENA — The Helena Citizens Conservation Board is holding a community conversation Tuesday evening about the community’s waste footprint and ways it can be reduced.

The meeting will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom. Those wishing to attend can click this link and follow the prompts to join: https://zoom.us/j/95530765316 , or join by phone by calling 1-669-900-6833 (webinar ID 95530765316#).

State experts in energy conservation, recycling and item reuse/refurbishment will discuss with the public what is currently being done in Helena and across the state for waste reduction.

They’ll also be collecting the community's input on how best to expand Helena’s current waste reduction efforts.

The Helena Citizens Conservation Board hope this will be the first of many community conversations on this topic.
