Rain, Snow, and Cooler Temperatures Is On The Menu Today!

The temperatures for most of the state today will stay below average. The highs will cool to the 40s & 50s while a few places in eastern Montana will remain in the 60s. The rain will take over today in the lower elevations while snow showers will continue to fall above 5500". The roads are wet, and With the rain continuously falling, it could lead to additional rises on streams and creeks. Southwest and Central Montana will have periods of heavy rain. The wind will howl in central Montana for today. Tomorrow, the morning will be quite chilly, but the temperatures will slightly increase. Western Montana temperatures will stay in the 50s, while everywhere else, the temperatures will trend in the 60s. A few pop-up showers will fall during the afternoon, but by Wednesday, the temperatures will increase into the 60s and 70s. Thursday, mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures will stick around the state. The highs will climb to the upper 70s and low 80s. Friday will be a warm day as well, but thunderstorms and rain will return.
