Snow is falling this Monday morning along and west of the Continental Divide. Mountain passes are slick and snow covered so please use caution if you're traveling that way. This week will be a roller coaster of temperatures with periods of showers and snow. A warm front will move into the state later Monday. Snow showers will continue on the Divide and in the mountains west of the Divide. Gradually snow levels will rise with warmer air moving in. Tuesday will be a warmer and windy day with highs in the 50s. Scattered rain showers will move through the state. West winds could gust higher than 40mph, especially off the Rocky Mountain Front and out the Hi-Line. Tuesday night a cold front will drop temperatures and snow levels. By Wednesday morning snow showers will spread throughout a lot of the state. Accumulation will be confined to the mountains. Wednesday temperatures will be much cooler, highs will only be in the 30s and 40s. That cool down will be brief as warmer temperatures return for Thursday and Friday. Thursday will be near 50 under sunny skies and Friday will warm into the 60s for most of the state. But that warmup will be short lived as a strong cold front will chill things down this coming weekend with scattered snow showers throughout the state.
Have a great day.
