Snowy Pattern Coming to an End

Posted at
and last updated

The latest and last round of snow will come to an end this weekend. Saturday will start out snowy and cold, but as low pressure moves east there will be clearing through the day. Temperatures will remain cold with highs in the 10s and 20s. Sunday morning will be very cold with some areas dropping below 0. Sunday is another big travel day but the trip home will be much better than what drivers had to face before Thanksgiving. Roads will still have some ice and snow on them as temperatures will not warm very much. Southwest wind will increase off of the Rocky Mountain Front where blowing snow could create travel problems. Some snow showers will move over the western Montana mountain passes (Lookout, Lolo, Lost Trail and Monida) late on Sunday which will slow down travel that direction. Much of next week will be quiet and partly cloudy, with moderating temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
Have a great weekend!
