Soggy September Switching Back To Sunshine

Posted
and last updated

September thus far has been fairly wet with above average precipitation. If it did not rain again for the rest of the month, places like Helena would finish the month with above average precipitation. Wet weather will take a little break as warm and dry weather moves back throughout the area. For Friday there will be a weak system that passes to the north of the state. There will be isolated showers and thunderstorms up along the Hi-Line through the afternoon and evening. The wind will be noticeable out of the west at up to 30mph. Temperatures will be warm in the 70s. This weekend is looking spectacular with partly cloudy skies on Saturday and highs in the 70s. Sunday will be a mighty fine late summer day with highs in the 80s under sunny skies. The 80s will continue into Monday, which could mark the last 80 degree day of the year for some towns. The next storm cycle will start late on Monday with a few thunderstorms develop. Tuesday through Thursday will be cooler and wet with mountain snow.
Have a great day.
