Spring is near, but the temperatures are telling us otherwise!

Now that the storm has passed, the temperatures will remain seasonable for the next few days. The high temperature for today will range from the '20s in north-central Montana and the low 40's in parts of southwest Montana. A high- pressure system will bring sunshine and help clear out skies for today. The wind will stay mild for today, but can still cause blowing and drifting snow around the area. The roads are still covered with snow and ice. Moisture will creep it's way back into the state Tuesday night into Wednesday, bringing light snow showers. The accumulations are mild and is expected only to bring an inch or so of additional snowfall. Tuesday's temperatures will slightly warm up. The high temperatures for tomorrow will range from the '40s in most of the state, and the upper 20's & low 30's along the Hi-Line. Another front will enter the region late tomorrow and drop the temperatures for Wednesday. Wednesday expect mostly cloudy skies, colder temperatures, and breezy conditions. Western Montana temperatures will remain in the 40's central Montana, and also eastern Montana temperatures will only;y reach the 30's and 40's. Another system will only produce an inch or so in the lower elevations and an inch and a half in the high elevations. The first day of spring will begin with winter-like temperatures and colder air. Friday things will slightly warm-up and carry into the weekend.
